Artisan Partners Asset Management (APAM) late on Friday said its assets under management totaled $164.4 billion in April, up from $162.4 billion at the end of March.

Assets contained within the company's Artisan Funds and Artisan Global Funds rose to $80.2 billion from $79.2 billion on March 31, while separate accounts and other assets under management climbed to $84.2 billion last month from $83.2 billion at the end of March.
