May 9 (Reuters) - Nippon Steel 5401.T Vice Chairman Takahiro Mori is headed to Washington next week for meetings with U.S. administration officials regarding its bid to merge with U.S. Steel X.N, a Semafor reporter posted on X, citing sources.
Nippon Steel's $15 billion bid for U.S. Steel, rejected by former U.S. President Joe Biden, is under review.
