Guangzhou Automobile Group's (HKG:2238, SHA:601238) recorded a nearly 26% and 13% drop in production and sales in April to 108,620 units and 116,440 vehicles, respectively, a May 9 Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Output and sales for the automaker in April 2024 had stood at 146,278 units and 133,313 units, respectively.

From January to April, production output fell 5.3% year over year to 519,825 vehicles, while sales slipped 10% to 487,527 units.
