Preferred Bank (PFBC) said Friday it appointed Nick Pi as executive vice president and chief risk officer.

Pi was most recently the bank's chief credit officer, a role he has held since 2015.

He will continue to oversee the credit function and will now also be responsible for the BSA and compliance departments, the bank said.
