Canadian Solar Jumps After Upbeat Q2 Revenue Forecast

** Shares of solar and battery company Canadian Solar up 6% at $10.72 premarket

** Co in Q2 expects total revenue to be in the range of $1.9 billion to $2.1 billion, above analysts' estimate of $1.76 billion - data compiled by LSEG

** However, expects current-year revenue to be in the range of $6.1 billion to $7.1 billion in 2025 vs estimate of $7.3 billion

** CSIQ says the impact of tariffs combined with other factors resulted in a Q1 net loss of $34 million compared with a profit of $12.4 million a year ago

** As of last close, shares are down 9% YTD
