Omnicell (OMCL) said Wednesday that it has opened its innovation lab in Austin, Texas, aimed at rapidly developing new technologies to solve challenges in the healthcare industry.

The technologies will focus on the medication and supply use process, and will range from simple mechanical design to potentially advanced robotics, AI, autonomous devices, sensor technologies, and machine vision, the company said.
