BYD (SHE:002594, HKG:1211) sold 3,002 vehicles in Singapore in the first four months of 2025, comprising a 20% share of the city-state's market, Reuters reported Wednesday.
This outpaced rivals Toyota (TYO:7203) and Tesla, which logged respective sales of 2,050 units and 535 units, according to the report.
Toyota used to be the top-selling car brand in Singapore, logging 2024 car sales of 7,876 versus BYD's sales of 6,191 cars, Reuters wrote.
