0716 GMT - Fresnillo is likely to have raised C$170 million from the sale of its 9% stake in MAG Silver based on the company's average share price this week, RBC Analysts write. The silver and gold miner said it sold the shares as the terms of MAG Silver's planned takeover by Pan American Silver didn't align with its strategic investment or the interest of shareholders. It didn't say how much it sold the shares for. MAG Silver shares closed Thursday at C$25.12. Fresnillo shares are down 0.1% at 10.15 pounds. (ian.walker@wsj.com.)
