ZJK Industrial (ZJK) said Thursday it was granted a patent in China for its image recognition-based inspection-control system for carrier tape packaging.
The patent was granted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration, the company said.
The technology replaces carrier tape inspections that rely on manual checks after packaging and can automatically stop the packaging machine when detecting any anomaly, the company said.
Shares were 2.4% higher in recent premarket activity.
