Talga Group (ASX:TLG) executed a binding offtake agreement with Nyobolt for a multi-year supply of Talnode-C graphite anode from the Vittangi anode project in Sweden, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
Nyobolt confirmed Talnode-C's viability as a feedstock for its proprietary fast-charging battery technology. It is committed to purchasing around 3,000 tonnes of Talnode-C at a fixed price for an initial term of four years commencing from Tuesday.
The initial supply will be from Talga's electric vehicle anode demonstration plant in Luleå, with the balance to be from the commercial anode refinery in Luleå, which is planned for construction to commence in 2026, subject to a final investment decision.
The offtake agreement is subject to commercial production milestones being achieved.
Talga's shares jumped 10% in recent trading on Wednesday.
