ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC has acquired a 25% interest in the Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America (NGPL), one of the largest natural gas infrastructure systems in North America. With this acquisition, ArcLight now holds a 62.5% economic ownership interest in NGPL, making it the largest owner alongside its strategic partner, Kinder Morgan, Inc., which retains a 37.5% economic interest and continues to operate the pipeline. NGPL, known for its extensive interstate pipeline network spanning nine states, plays a crucial role in supplying energy to significant power and heating markets and liquefied natural gas facilities. The transaction reflects ArcLight's commitment to supporting growing infrastructure needs related to AI, digital power, and LNG. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
