May 15 - (The Insurer) - CRC Group has hired JV Franks in New Orleans as an underwriting team leader, Alicia Calhoun in Houston as senior vice president and senior broker and Tim Frawley as underwriting team leader.

Franks has over 25 years of insurance brokerage experience, most recently at Hull & Company. Calhoun has over 20 years of experience in the industry, most recently at XPT Specialty and before that at RT Specialty. Frawley joins from JM Wilson, and has over 10 years of experience in the industry, including at Liberty Mutual.

"As CRC continues to grow, its focus remains on empowering retail agents through access to exceptional brokerage resources and customized coverage solutions," the company said.

Earlier in May, CRC Group hired Matt O'Daniel as senior broker, Tanya Jacobus as property broker in Dallas, Texas, and Nick Marsh as a senior underwriting team leader specializing in transportation in the Boise, Idaho office.
