Nvidia (NVDA) said Sunday it launched NVLink Fusion, a new silicon that helps build semi-custom artificial intelligence infrastructure.
MediaTek, Marvell (MRVL), Alchip Technologies, Astera Labs (ALAB), Synopsys (SNPS) and Cadence (CDNS) are the initial adopters of the technology, Nvidia said.
Using NVLink Fusion, Fujitsu and Qualcomm Technologies (QCOM) central processing units can also be integrated with Nvidia graphics process units to build "high-performance Nvidia AI factories," the chipmaking giant said.
