- Creditors of Thames Water are braced to write off 6 billion pounds ($7.98 billion), or one third, of its debt if KKR KKR.N successfully takes control of the company.

- Unilever ULVR.L is to invest 80 million pounds to build an in-house fragrance business in the UK, including a new facility at its historical site in Port Sunlight in the northwest of England.
