Archer Aviation Inc., in collaboration with Anduril Industries UK, has announced a new partnership to test dual-use eVTOL cargo aircraft in the UK market. The initiative is supported by Skyports Drone Services and AtkinsRéalis, aiming to explore civil and defense applications using Archer's Midnight eVTOL aircraft. The collaboration focuses on enabling beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations, supporting low-emission logistics for civil and military use cases. Anduril will lead as the systems integrator, while Archer provides the aircraft platform, marking a significant step in advancing integrated air mobility and strengthening the UK's aviation and defense capabilities.
