Mitsui DM Sugar Holdings Co (TYO:2109) repurchased 1.18 million shares for approximately 3.84 billion yen through ToSTNeT-3 on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, completing the share buyback program announced on May 15, according to a Friday filing.
The move is aimed at enhancing capital efficiency and shareholder returns amid a changing business environment.
The company said it will cancel the acquired shares on June 2.
