Tesla (TSLA) Chief Financial Officer Vaibhav Taneja got a 2024 pay package of $139 million, which is linked to stock options and equity awards he received in October last year in connection with his promotion to CFO in August 2023, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.
That pay package is the highest amount paid to a CFO and more than most chief executive officers since the start of modern reporting in 2006, the report said, citing Equilar.
Tesla didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
