James Hardie Industries (ASX:JHX) reported Wednesday that its adjusted earnings per diluted share in the fiscal fourth quarter fell to $0.36 from $0.40 per diluted share a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.36.
Net sales for the three months ended March 31 were $971.5 million, down from $1 billion in the same period a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $986.2 million.
For fiscal 2026, the company expects total capital expenditure of about $325 million.
