Bojun Education Company Ltd., a leading private education service provider in Sichuan Province, China, reported a decline in revenue for the six months ending February 28, 2025. The company recorded revenues of RMB207.4 million, a decrease of approximately 8.8% from RMB227.5 million in the same period the previous year. This drop in revenue was primarily attributed to a reduction in tuition and boarding fees. The company also reported a net loss of RMB9.857 million, a significant downturn from the profit of RMB3.902 million reported in the corresponding period in 2024. Additionally, the loss attributable to the owners of the company amounted to RMB6.539 million, compared to a profit of RMB5.834 million in the previous period. Bojun Education highlighted a decrease in the total number of students and teachers, with student numbers falling by 4.9% to 31,081 and teacher numbers decreasing by 5.8% to 1,946. The overall school utilization rate also dropped from 74.2% to 70.8%. The company remains focused on its private schools and is monitoring changes in relevant market dynamics to adjust its strategies accordingly.
