Kering Eyewear, a subsidiary of French luxury-goods giant Kering, has partnered with Google to develop artificial intelligence-powered glasses.
The Milan-based eyewear maker said Tuesday the glasses will use Google's Android XR and aim to integrate into everyday life with personalized AI-driven features.
The company didn't disclose the terms of the partnership.
The announcement comes hours after New York-based Warby Parker disclosed its own smart glasses partnership with Google, with the companies' first line of intelligent eyewear set for launch after 2025.
