MA Financial Group (ASX:MAF) confirmed it is in discussions to acquire real estate asset manager IP Generation, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

No binding agreements have been signed, and there is no certainty that the talks will lead to a transaction, the filing said.

The company also stated that any potential deal would not require an equity raising.

Shares of the company fell nearly 1% in recent Wednesday trade.
