Strickland Metals Secures Co-Funded Drilling Grant for Western Australia Gold Project; Shares Rise 5%

Strickland Metals (ASX:STK) said it was awarded a co-funded drilling grant under Western Australia's exploration incentive scheme to facilitate diamond drill testing at the Dusk 'til Dawn area at the Yandal gold project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday ASX filing.

A high-resolution ground gravity survey over Dusk 'til Dawn has been expanded to cover a new area north of the Horse Well resource area, which is geophysically similar. A total combined 19 kilometers of strike is now being surveyed.

It is collecting and resampling historic drill chips from exploration programs across this expanded survey area to better map alteration zones.

Its shares rose 5% in recent trading on Wednesday.
