WeRide (WRD) reported a Q1 loss Wednesday of 1.38 Chinese renminbi ($0.18) per diluted American depositary share, narrowing from a loss of 11.85 renminbi a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was 72.4 million renminbi, up from 71.2 million renminbi a year earlier.

Comparable analyst estimates were not readily available.

Shares of the Chinese autonomous driving technology firm were up more than 2% in recent premarket activity.
