The fire was swiftly extinguished by the station's onsite, highly trained fire brigade, ensuring there were no injuries to plant personnel and no impact on public health or safety. Unit 2 continued to operate safely at full power, while Unit 1, which was offline, remained unaffected by the event. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
