Xiaomi (HKG:1810) will invest 200 billion yuan in core technology research and development over the next five years, Reuters reported Thursday, citing Chief Executive Officer Lei Jun's comments at a Beijing event.
Lei made the announcement at an event where the tech giant is expected to unveil its first electric SUV and advanced Xring01 mobile chip, as well as a range of other products, the report said.
