PPG Industries Inc. has announced the release of its 2024 Sustainability Report, which can be accessed at ppg.com/sustainability. The report highlights PPG's progress toward its 2030 sustainability targets, emphasizing a 41% contribution of sales from sustainably advantaged products like the PPG ENVIRO-PRIME® EPIC200X solution. This solution has enabled a customer's facility to reduce CO2 emissions by 3,500 metric tons annually. Additionally, PPG has significantly expanded its renewable energy efforts, leading to an 18% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions within its operations. Notably, a solar installation at the Caivano, Italy facility contributes to a CO2 emissions reduction of approximately 390 metric tons annually. PPG also reported a 6% reduction in value chain emissions across various stages, including purchased goods and services, customer processing, and end-of-life treatment of products.
