1309 ET - Levi Strauss's sale of Dockers should result in a boost to business, UBS analysts say in a research note. That's because the divestiture will allow the jeans maker to improve its organic revenue growth; lower its cost structure and better its margins; further reduce its U.S. wholesale exposure; and simplify the business, so it can focus on investing in its namesake brand, the analysts say. "Plus, the deal will give Levi the ability to proceed with incremental share buybacks," they added. (connor.hart@wsj.com)
