California American Water, a subsidiary of American Water Works Co. Inc., has completed the acquisition of the Mesa Del Sol water system, located in the Corral de Tierra area of Salinas. This acquisition follows a successful project to interconnect the Mesa Del Sol system with California American Water's Toro Park system, addressing water quality challenges in the area. The addition brings 15 new water connections to the company's network, expanding their service coverage, which already includes around 40,000 connections across the Monterey Peninsula and other parts of Monterey County. Residents of Mesa Del Sol will now benefit from California American Water's expertise, with access to enhanced services such as a bilingual website, online billing, and conservation programs.
