NTPC (NSE:NTPC) reported a consolidated profit attributable to owners of 76.11 billion Indian rupees for the quarter ended March 31, up from 61.69 billion rupees a year earlier, according to a Saturday filing on the local bourses.
Earnings per share stood at 7.85 rupees compared with 6.36 rupees in the same quarter last year.
Total income rose to 510.85 billion rupees from 488.17 billion rupees a year ago.
The board recommended a final dividend of 3.3 rupees per share for fiscal 2024-2025. This decision follows interim dividends of 2.5 rupees per share, each paid in November 2024 and February 2025.
