Airbus said Air Niugini, the national carrier of Papua New Guinea, has ordered 2 additional A220-100 aircraft.
The European plane maker said Wednesday the order follows an initial order for six aircraft in 2023. Air Niugini has also signed lease agreements for three A220-300 aircraft from U.S. lessor Azorra, Airbus said.
