Great Divide Mining (ASX:GDM) has commenced operations at the Challenger mine site, in Adelong, New South Wales, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The mine is part of the joint venture between Adelong Gold Limited (ASX: ADG) and the company, the filing said.
Great Divide Mining expects to produce initial concentrates at the Challenger process plant within the week.
The company's shares were up 6% in recent Tuesday trade.
