JK Lakshmi Cement (NSE:JKLAKSHMI, BOM:500380) recorded a rise in its consolidated attributable profit to 1.84 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31, against 1.57 billion rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share came in at 15.60 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 13.34 rupees, according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the cement manufacturer.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 increased to 19.0 billion rupees from 17.8 billion rupees a year earlier.
The company's board recommended a dividend of 6.50 rupees per equity share of 5 rupees each for the financial year ended March 31.
