Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria's (BBVA) bid for Banco Sabadell will be reviewed by Spain's government, according to economy ministry press release on Tuesday.

The ministry will have 30 days to analyze the proposal and offer a decision, according to a statement.

The review comes after the National Commission on Markets and Competition cleared the deal, per the release.
