Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. has announced that its subsidiary, Zhejiang Powertrain, has entered into an Equity Transfer Agreement to acquire a 17.5% equity interest in InfiMotion from Ningbo Lotus. The transaction, dated May 30, 2025, is aimed at creating stronger synergies within Geely's operations. Zhejiang Powertrain, a company primarily engaged in the research, development, and manufacture of automobile parts, is 99% owned by Geely. The acquisition's terms have been deemed fair and reasonable by the company's board, reflecting Geely's strategic interest in expanding its automotive component capabilities.
