Tesoro Gold (ASX:TSO) said assay results from its ongoing drilling program at the El Zorro gold project in Chile intercept new gold-bearing zones both within and extending out beyond the existing boundary of the mineral resource estimate of the Ternera gold deposit, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
A significant intercept encountered during the drilling was 47.6 meters at 1.13 grams-per-tonne from a depth of 402.6 meters.
The firm is continuing to drill at the deposit, seeking to expand the estimate at the shallow northern and southern ends.
