VISA Steel (NSE:VISASTEEL, BOM:532721) widened its consolidated attributable loss to 4.88 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal fourth quarter ended March 31 against 88.8 million rupees a year ago.
Earnings per share widened to 42.16 rupees compared with the year-ago figure of 0.77 rupees, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the steel manufacturer.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q4 increased to 1.62 billion rupees from 1.56 billion rupees a year earlier.
The company's shares were up over 2% in recent trade.
