Shenzhen Friendcom Technology Development (SHE:300514) was recommended as a candidate for the State Grid of China's procurement bid for metering equipment worth 176.2 million yuan, according to a Shenzhen bourse disclosure on Wednesday.
The Chinese wireless products manufacturer was selected for ten packages, which included Class A single-phase smart meters, Class B and C three-phase meters, dedicated transformer collection terminals, and other forms of terminals.
Friendcom's shares rose less than 2% in recent trade.
