- Several traditional and electric-vehicle makers — and their suppliers — are considering shifting some auto parts manufacturing to China to avoid looming factory shutdowns given China's stranglehold on rare-earth magnets.

- The White House sent Congress a $9.4 billion rescission package on Tuesday that would codify some spending cuts made by the Trump administration, effectively asking lawmakers to reverse spending they previously voted into law.

- Post Holdings POST.N agreed to buy 8th Avenue Food & Provisions for $880 million, which includes assumed debt, reuniting the company with some private brands it previously owned.

- SpaceX's chief executive, Elon Musk said Tuesday on X that the Texas-based company is expected to generate about $15.5 billion in revenue in 2025.
