Columbus McKinnon (CMCO) said Friday that the company and KKR (KKR) have received a request for additional information and documentary material from the US Department of Justice's antitrust division regarding Columbus McKinnon's proposed acquisition of Kito Crosby from KKR.
The move extends the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act until 30 days after both Columbus McKinnon and KKR have substantially complied with the request for information, Columbus McKinnon said in a regulatory filing.
The companies plan to continue to work with the antitrust division to help close its review of the deal, according to the filing.
