Wolfden Resources Corporation has announced positive results from a deep penetrating induced polarization $(IP)$ geophysical survey at its Rockland Gold Project located in the Walker Lane Trend of Nevada, USA. The survey revealed a strong chargeability anomaly below altered rhyolite-hosted gold mineralization, suggesting potential higher-grade mineralization at depth. This anomaly aligns with a northeast-trending structural corridor extending at least 1.7 km, indicating increased disseminated pyrite from hydrothermal alteration. Wolfden plans to commence a 1,800 metre drill program in July to explore these targets. The project is funded by a recent US$1.5M land sale in Maine, and the company aims to replicate success similar to AngloGold's Silicon-Merlin discovery in the region.
