0922 ET - Thor Industries is seeing stark differences in demand for RVs in North America and Europe. The maker of Airstream and Jayco RVs reports sales and shipments for both North American towable RVs and motorized RVs rising from a year earlier, partly due to an increase in price. Sales and shipments for Europeans RVs decline from the prior-year, however. Pressure on margins persists as it manages through softer retail and wholesale demand in the North American motorized and European segments, says COO Todd Woelfer.
