HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KRX:009540) secured a contract with Korea Central Power, also known as Korea Electric Power (KRX:015760) to build Boryeong thermal power plant units 1-8.
The project comprises building low-carbon indoor fire protection units, the shipbuilder said in a Friday regulatory filing with Korea Exchange.
The project is valued at 365 billion won.
Shares of HD Korea Shipbuilding fell nearly 1% in recent trade on Monday.
