Afya Limited, a prominent medical education and practice solutions provider in Brazil, has announced a change in its independent registered public accounting firm. The company's board of directors, following a recommendation from its audit committee, has approved the engagement of KPMG Auditores Independentes Ltda. as its new independent auditor. This decision comes as KPMG takes over the role from the previous auditor, Ernst & Young Auditores Independentes S/S Ltda. KPMG is set to begin its auditing services with a review of Afya's quarterly information for the second quarter of 2025.
