Air New Zealand Limited is set to expand its international fleet with the addition of two new A321neo aircraft. The planes will journey 19,342 kilometers to Auckland from the Airbus facility in Hamburg, with stopovers in Muscat, Kuala Lumpur, and Cairns. Configured for routes to Australia and the Pacific islands, each A321neo will accommodate 214 passengers. This enhancement aligns with the airline's strategy to boost its network and offer more flight options, adding an estimated 70,000 seats annually. The first aircraft is expected to enter service shortly, with the second following in a few months. Chief Commercial Officer Jeremy O'Brien emphasized that these additions demonstrate the airline's commitment to future growth and connectivity.
