Antares Metals (ASX:AM5) found a new zone of disseminated copper mineralization following the second phase reverse circulation drilling at the Surprise project within the Mt Isa North project in Queensland, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The discovery represents an untested and distinct copper mineralization target, expanding the known mineralized trend to 1.2 kilometers, the filing said.

Additionally, portable X-ray fluorescence results identified three new targets outside the existing Surprise mine for the third phase drilling program, per the filing.
