White Cliff Minerals Releases Final Assay Results at Canada Copper Project

White Cliff Minerals (ASX:WCN) shared the final assay results from its initial drilling program at the Danvers area within the Rae copper project in Nunavut, Canada, and will begin an expanded multi-rig drill campaign following early site remobilization approval, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Assay results included 105 meters grading 2.25% copper and 6.97 grams per tonne grade of silver from a depth of 27.43 meters. This comprised an 18-meter interval grading 3.17% copper and 6.27 g/t silver from 35.05 meters, along with an additional 35 meters at 3.93% copper and 13.35 g/t silver from 60.96 meters, the filing said.

The results also define a shallow copper-silver mineralized zone extending along a 150-meter northeast-southwest strike and confirm vertical continuity beyond 175 meters, with mineralization still open in all directions.

Approval has been received for earlier mobilization, with the company now expecting to return to the site in the coming weeks to begin follow-up drilling at Danvers and regional exploration, the filing added.
