FinWise Bancorp announced a change in its independent registered public accounting firm following the merger of its previous auditor, Moss Adams LLP, with Baker Tilly US, LLP, effective June 3, 2025. As a result of the merger, Moss Adams resigned as the company's auditor, and the Audit Committee of FinWise Bancorp's Board of Directors approved the appointment of Baker Tilly as the successor auditor. During the fiscal years ending December 31, 2023, and 2024, and the interim period leading up to the announcement, FinWise Bancorp did not consult with Baker Tilly regarding any accounting principles or audit opinions. The audit reports from Moss Adams for those years were unqualified and did not contain any adverse opinions or disclaimers. Additionally, there were no disagreements or reportable events with Moss Adams that required disclosure.
