Botala Energy (ASX:BTE) completed drilling at the Serowe-3.4A well, the second well in its Project Pitse pilot cluster within the Serowe coal bed methane project in Botswana, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Testing showed gas desorption rates ranging from 3.2 grams per cubic centimeter (cc/g) to 4.21 cc/g in the Serowe coal seam, confirming high gas content, the filing said.
The well is currently being completed, and connectivity with the Serowe-3.1 well is being tested, per the filing.
