Kongsberg Gruppen said Thursday that Germany will buy the Norwegian company's joint strike missiles in a deal that is expected to be worth about 6.5 billion kroner ($642.8 million).
Talks over the proposed acquisition are progressing and a contract is expected to be signed by the end of the first half of 2025, it said.
The missiles will be acquired for Germany's fleet of F-35 fighter jets.
Germany will be the fifth country to select the joint strike missile, alongside existing customers Norway, Japan, Australia and the U.S.
