Skillsoft Corporation has announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2026, revealing a total revenue of $124 million, which marks a 3% decrease from the previous year. The Talent Development Solutions $(TDS)$ segment showed resilience, with revenue reaching $99 million, reflecting a 1% increase from the prior year. However, the Global Knowledge $(GK)$ segment faced challenges, with revenue falling by 16% to $25 million. The company reported a GAAP net loss of $38 million, compared to a GAAP net loss of $28 million in the previous year. Adjusted EBITDA stood at $22 million, representing an increase from $19 million in the prior year and reflecting a margin expansion to 18% of revenue. Free cash flow showed significant improvement, climbing to $26 million from $10 million in the previous year. The company has reaffirmed its financial outlook for the full fiscal year, projecting GAAP revenue between $530 million and $545 million and adjusted EBITDA between $112 million and $118 million. Skillsoft noted the challenging economic environment, particularly the softening of discretionary spending impacting its Global Knowledge business segment.
